[Snake Classic]

Not a fan

I really didn't like the use of the mouse. It would have been much more fun if I could use the arrow keys. Using the mouse caused me to run into myself with only a few things added onto the end. However, the graphics were good and the use of the mouse made it more original. It wasn't horrible, but I probably won't play it again.

I cheated my ass off

That was ridiculous. Cool, but need more time and development spent on it, haha the last level was crazy.
But, yeah, all I had to do was pull up another window, place my mouse above the knife, and alt-tab back to the game.

Great

The concept it absolutely amazing, I really enjoyed it.
But even though it's mindlessly addicting, it could use a little more variety, both on the upgrade part and in the actual gameplay, it was really fun, but I couldn't help but feel that all the levels were almost exactly the same. The only thing that made me hold on through the whole thing was making me feel good about myself by getting all the cups. The enemys never tried anything new, and they all pretty much would kill themselves excluding one or twp, before I would even get to them. So, pretty much, I think you could make it more of a challenge, spend more time on level design, and work out the little gameplay glitches, and you would have an amazing game.
By the way, big time game developers find their success in listening to their criticizers, try not to get worked up about what people say, because if you get past just wanting to be pissed about it, and take what they say into account, you'll have incredibly enjoyable games as an end product.

Yea, I know. I'm not even mad. I'm just staring controversy so I can show my friends the hilarious hatemail. Don't knock it 'till you've tried it, serious, you get all these 14 year olds flooding the page with swears and mis-spellings you'd think you were the biggest celebrity who just held a baby over a balcony or something.

Incedently, I'm hoping to get some kind of job in the game developing field, and actually do take into account the things people say, just not the idiots who say things like "you should have more then 1 song" ( there are 3 ) or "there should be multiple ways to kill" and there freakn' are.

Cool Start

The few things I noticed that you should look at are:
The auto fire on the gun kinda messes up a little after a little bit, if you keep holding the button down, you will start shooting two shots instantaneously every so often.

when you're the air (mid-jump) the grenade button acts as another jump, I dont know if you meant to do that, but it makes it possible to do a triple jump

And the grenade explosion doesnt show up every time, not so important, but annoying to me, haha.

I like what you have though, I hope it turns into something great

Yes, the grenade button was as a tripple-jump, but was supposed to be... well... secret :(.

I don't know why the grenade explosion wouldn't show up everytime. I try and see that.
